Construction Equality Ireland Launch

We're proud to announce the launch of Constructing Equality Ireland, a new industry-led initiative bringing organisations together to accelerate gender equality across Ireland's built environment sector. As a Strategic Partner, Women in Construction Ireland is proud to support this collaborative effort and contribute our expertise to help shape practical solutions that can increase the representation of women across the built environment sector. The initiative recognises that many of the barriers facing women
in construction are shared across the industry and require collective action to
address.

Over the coming months, industry roundtables will bring organisations together to share insights and identify barriers and opportunities for women in construction. The first roundtable takes place on 6 October and will focus on attracting women into construction through early-career recruitment pathways. More details about the roundtables will be released soon.

Findings from the roundtables will inform an industry-wide Gender Equality Action Plan, designed to provide practical and actionable support for organisations of all sizes. We encourage organisations across the sector to join the conversation and help shape a more equal future for our industry.
